Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actress most commonly known for her role as Bo in the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, and Ilkay Silk, a prominent performer, actress, and playwright and Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories were of going to the play school and watching her mom work. Silk played a role as a young girl in commercials. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least 2 early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in the years following 1999. She met her future husband, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's workshop held in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got married in December of 2009 following a civil ceremony. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton, after the woman converted to Judaism. Silk had a child who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk is well-known for her television role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was awarded a nomination by for the Gemini Awards. Her most notable role was in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus and a succubus in Lost Girl. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the season's third finale episode. The news was announced to fans of the series during an episode of the Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she was ready to return to her work. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production of the fourth season. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) as well as Lauren (played by Zoie) and Lauren (Zoie) among their most favored TV couple. Entertainment Television.
